annexed to newly-approved FIP-based generation systems, and from April 2025 for storage batteries annexed to previously approved FIP-based generation style=\"color: #ff0000\">electricity generated in April 2025, certification of the amount of electricity<\/span> will begin for storage batteries annexed to renewable energy generation facilities that are charged from the grid<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<div style=\"background: #f5deb3;padding: 6px;height: 80 px;border-radius: 10px;border: solid #ffffff;float: center\">\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>Conditions for certifying the amount of electricity when storage batteries annexed to <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>renewable energy generatin facilities are charged from the grid<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"background: #ffffff;padding: 6px;height: 230px;border-radius: 1px;border: thin solid #f5deb3;float: left\">\n<ol style=\"list-style-type: lower-alpha\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff0000\">No<\/span> demand facilities<span style=\"font-size: 8pt\">*1<span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"> or <span style=\"color: #ff0000\">fossil-fueled generation facilities<\/span> other than the relevant renewable energy generation facilities exist at a single demand site, including the location of the renewable energy generaion facilities <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li>The electricity used to calculate the certified amount must <span style=\"color: #ff0000\">be measured using a specified measuring instrument<\/span> under the Measurement Act<\/li>\n<li>When the electricity used to calculate the certified amount is<span style=\"color: #ff0000\"> determined by the difference in meter readings<\/span>, the following requirements regarding differential measurement must be met<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"background: #ffffff;padding: 30px;height: 280px;border-radius: 10px;border: solid #ffffff;float: left\">\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: circle\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff0000\">Efforts should be made to ensure that errors<\/span> in differential measurement <span style=\"color: #ff0000\">remain within the permissible tolerance required for the specified measuring instrument<\/span><\/li>\n<li>The<span style=\"color: #ff0000\"> reading timing<\/span> of each measurement instrument should be <span style=\"color: #ff0000\">synchronized<\/span><\/li>\n<li>The wiring should allow proper diffential measureent, such as<span style=\"color: #ff0000\"> not placing transformers or other power-consuming equipment between the measurement instruments<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Each party should be able to <span style=\"color: #ff0000\">access the meter readings as needed<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">*1 Except for the cases where the generation facilities, inverters, co-located storage batteries, or other equipment essential for the operation of the relevant renewable energy generation facilities consume only a negligible amount of electricity used by the relevant
