      As policies aimed at expanding PV deployment are rolled out, concerns over developing PV projects in harmony with local communities have become increasingly apparent, such as the issue of a MW-scale PV project in the Kushiro Wetland area on in Hokkaido Prefecture. In response, the government has decided on a package of measures concerning MW-scale PV projects. While strengthening legal regulations against inappropriate projects, the government has set out a policy to prioritize support for the development of PV projects in harmony with local communities\u00a0<\/p>\n
