Following the 2050 Carbon Neutrality Declaration in October 2021, Japan’s PV market is seeing waves of changes as the nation is moving toward decarbonization by making PV a main power source. Japan aims to install 117.6 GWAC as the “Ambitious Level” target by FY 2030. Under such circumstances, RTS forecasts that the PV market in Japan will grow to the size of
154 to 180 GWDC (121 to 140 GWAC) by FY 2030.
