RTS Corporation released the Japanese-language report “Forecasting PV Installed Capacity in Japan 2025–2040” in January 2026.

This report provides the latest long-term projections for the PV market in Japan through fiscal year 2040. The analysis is based on the outlook for solar power generation in the energy mix outlined in the 7th Strategic Energy Plan, approved by the Cabinet in February 2025.
